Neo-Nazis are in the Army now
Terrifying. Racism is truly terrifying.
True it is scary… I suppose letting white supremacists in the army is like throwing petrol on an already blazing fire?
I had a quick gander at the U.S Department of Defence directive that re-emphasizes it’s policy on prohibiting members of racist organisations from joining the army and the last line from this particular paragraph made me giggle a bit:
Service members must reject participation in organizations that:
o Espouse supremacist causes;
o Attempt to create illegal discrimination based on race, creed, color, gender, religion or national origin;
o Advocate the use of force or violence or otherwise engage in efforts to deprive individuals of their civil rights.
…Um so they must reject participation in organizations that advocate the use of force or violence… like the army itself?
